Using those dyed fabrics!


Have been busy using some of my tray dyed and ice dyed fabrics to make note books and packs of hand dyed fabric and threads to sell on our Embroiderers' Guild stand at The Allsorts Craft Fair in Solihull Arts Complex , the first weekend in November.
Here are some of the sketch book covers - strips of fabric, machined over with stitch patterns and free machine embroidery.

    love your dyed pieces, do a little myself but cheat and have been using silk paints that I sponge on,. Want to try acid dys as they say thet=y are so much easier than procien and not so messy, K & S show this week in Harrogate so hope to picksome brains whilst there.

      Thank you for your comments - dyeing fabric can become so addictive! Hope you enjoy the K&S show. Should be some good exhibitions and displays + lots to spend your money on
